The principle is simple: The wisdom that can most impact you is your own. It resides within; you only need access it. Dance and movement are a gateway. How you choose to traverse that gate and travel the path is the essence of the Dance Journey.

This is the last of the tuesday evening Dance JOURNEYS> All are welcome: those who have participated in this series and all those that have yet to see what it's all about.

Hereafter Dance JOURNEYS will be combining with some special events and looking toward the festivals over spring and summer.

Riding one continuous wave of music designed in the moment, in relationship, in the mix for a journey of consequence.

Dance JOURNEYS contains some spoken word compositions; sign posts and access points to guide you on your way.

Dimmed lighting and gentle atmosphere of respect.

Closing circle at journey's end

Bring a blanket to lie on as a start and end point.

What you may enjoy:

the immersion in the music
the physicality and fitness of the dance experience
the sense of unity with others embarking on the experience
the relief of surrendering the logical to the intuitive
the inexplicable sense of closeness to something large and wonderful made accessible through the movement
the particular exhilaration of journeying across an un-interrupted soundscape tailored to the moment

These are exciting times for those with a leaning toward sound and movement. There are many dance events illustrating the high need and demand for this form of expression. Dance JOURNEYS is excited to be part of this wave.
